The chaos and uncertainty of the pandemic might now be behind us, but as a society, it has left us much changed. Sometimes in ways we cannot even perceive until we look close enough. With the cold and dreary weather slowly setting in, it is easy for the shadows within us to make themselves known again, whatever form they might take for you.
But the persistent nature of us as humans, and more so, as queer folk, has seen us move ourselves away from the shadows towards the light time, and time again, and then some. While there might not always be quick solutions to our problems, or sometimes, solutions at all, supporting each other in our community through difficult times has been the cornerstone of why we continue to persist and thrive in the face of all that is thrown at us by life and others.
Come join us between February 16 and 18, 2024, for the BC Radical Faeries Shadow Gathering 2024, the first one since the pandemic, to explore where we are at with ourselves and as a community.
